Chapman University I Launching a New Venture Course

In my Entrepreneurship course, I worked with two peers to create and pitch an all-in-one aggregate app that manages social media platforms for users. My role was to write a business plan that included an industry and market analysis, evaluation of competitors, marketing plan and strategy, design and development plan, and operations plan for the business. I also helped to create a mock pitch deck.

Twitch Marketing Plan

Chapman University I Special Topics in Entrepreneurship Sports and Entertainment Marketing Course

For my final project in this course, I was given the opportunity to create a marketing strategy for the streaming platform Twitch. I came up with a repositioning campaign, conducted a SWOT and PEST analysis, and also created an implementation timeline.

Undergraduate Student Socialization Research

Chapman University I Interviewing and Focus Groups course

In the spring of 2022, I worked for three months on a team of 5 to conduct research on the ways in which the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted small, private, west-coast college students’ social experiences on campus. I designed and conducted a focus group, derived codes from the transcript, and then helped to write a research report of the findings.

In my Research Methods course, I spent a month researching the effects of social media on user anxiety. After reviewing published literature and studies on the topic, I wrote a research report along with 3 peers.
